Niagara Belt involved in TOP – Tracking Original Products Project

in cooperation with “Politecnico di Milano” and “Università La Sapienza di Roma”


Due to strong attention to the technology innovation, Niagara Belt is the reference pilot company in the industry of fashion accessories of TOP project, selected by the Lombardy Region as an important project into its meta-districts.
The project involves nine companies of Brescia and Bergamo areas, operating in different fields, and two international research centers of excellence – Politecnico di Milano and Università La Sapienza di Roma .
The objective is to introduce information technologies into the logistics and traceability processes of the pilot companies through an advanced technology testing, especially the RFId (Radio Frequency Identification) and NFC (Near Field Communication) technologies.
During the two years project, Niagara Belt will test on their products the application of RFId TAGs in order to manage the traceability and to input appropriately the entire supply chain, the distribution systems and the consumer.
